Before You Use This Method
Make sure that you don’t use Instagram to post your business links or spam. As I always recommend use it to add value and attract people. You can quicky turn off your audience by sending them a “sign up” or “buy my product” link. First impressions are important online. You don’t want to turn people off by posting the wrong content. The best approach is to intially provide something of value that’s educational and helpful. Free giveaways and how to video’s are a great way to start.
Reach a Larger Audience
Instagram has paid ad programs that are available for business accounts. One of the add types is called PPC.
PPC (Pay Per Click) are Ads that allows you to reach thousands of people. You can choose what type of campaign you want promote.
For Example you can choose
• Get More Followers
• More Website Clicks
• Video Views
• Product launch
• Install App
Image Ads allow you to advertise an image of your choice with a CTA (Call to Action) button below the Image directing people to your website or capture page.
Before you submitt your Image Ad make sure in your image your text to Picture ratio is below 20% or your ad will not be approved. Also make sure you have the proper aspect ratios so that your image fits perfect on the ad.
According to blog.snappa.com here are the proper Ratios.
“Landscape image ad sizes should be 1200 x 628 pixels, and have an aspect ratio of 1.9:1. Square images should have a 1:1 ratio, and use 1080 x 1080 pixels. Vertical image ad sizes should be 600 x 750 pixels, with an aspect ratio of 4:5.”
Video Ads allow you to create 60 second video clips with the content of your choice leading people to either follow you, visit your website or capture page.

- Recommended video resolution: 600 x 600 pixels (square) or 600 x 315 pixels (landscape)

These Ads are seen by thousands and are very easy to set up. Since Facebook owns Instagram everything is managed by your Facebook Ads Manager account.
