How to Schedule Post With Hootsuite on Social Media

What is Hootsuite?

Hootsuite is a “Social Management System” or tool. It helps you keep track and manage your many social network channels. It can enable you to monitor what people are saying about your brand and help you respond instantly. Hootsuite also allows you to schedule social media post and automate the delivery on various platforms.

How do I register for an account?

By simply visiting Hootsuite on a desktop device or downloading Hootsuite suite in the app store.

A great benefit about Hootsuite is that it has a free plan that gives a single user a social media dashboard for three social accounts. Once you create your Hootsuite account the next Step is to Link your Social Media accounts.

Step 1: Click on the “Add Social Network” Button

Step 2: Choose Social Network you want to connect and enter your user name and password

How do I Schedule a Post?

Once your Social Networks are added you can now schedule a post.

Step 1: Click on New Post

Step 2: Choose which Social Media accounts you would like to post to

Step 3: Type in the text for your post

Step 4: Choose Image/Video you can upload your own Image/Video or choose from Hootsuite’s photo library

Step 5: Choose Date and Time you would like to schedule the post and click Schedule
