Both Facebook and Instagram place stories right at the top of both platforms which is prime real estate for your audience to see. Both platforms are pushing people to use stories more which is an advantage to every entrepreneur marketing on social media.

With the popularity of apps like Tic Tok and Snapchat the format of short video clips and pictures in a chronological order stories provides that same format in Instagram and Facebook. Also another feature people love is that the content is available for 24 hours so for the audience there is always new content to view which makes it exciting. Starting a business is very exciting the first thing you want to do is share your awesome product, service and opportunity with everyone. Unfortunately many new business owners don’t learn proper marketing first. So what happens is they go on social media and make a bunch of mistakes. We see this particularly with Network Marketers, Affiliate Marketers, Direct sales and Home Business owners. They repel their audience from the very beginning. That leads to very little to NO sales or recruits. Which in turn leads to them not making any money. Frustration kicks in which leads to doubt and it’s all downhill from there.

Competing Post– If you’re posting to many times a day on social media Facebook won’t show your post to many people. That usually leads to low engagement and 0 conversion. What happens is your various post a day are competing with each other for engagement because Facebook won’t know which one to show more people to.

Using Funnels Wrong– Many people think that Funnels do all the work and try to implement them to soon before adding value or creating good content. Funnels are a great tool if used correctly but aren’t going to do all the work for you. They are great for sending potential leads to capture info, giveaways, and offers.

No Inbox Etiquette– Pitching in the first message and not saying Hello or seeing if the person is even open.

No Closing Process- Not having a good system after someone shows interest. Not choosing a sales mechanism where you contact and close you just send a link and hope people sign up or buy your product. For example I use Zoom Video calls to close my clients once they show interest.

Only relying on Passive Marketing- Not incorporating an Outbound strategy to create opportunities such as messaging, calling or emailing a set amount of people a day.

3 Step Social Media Marketing Strategy for Network Marketers and Home Business Owners

Content

Many Network Marketers, Home Business owners and Affiliate Marketers are taught to market their business wrong. Their up line will tell them to harass friends and family, spam their links all over, and pretty much annoy everyone in sight. These tactics just don’t work and will not help you build a sustainable business. when it comes to attracting the right audience and clients Step 1 always begins with good content. Content can come in the form of text post, Pictures, or Video post.

Types of Content

  • Value- Content that educates, enlightens, or provides insight to an audience.
  • Curiosity- Not always giving the products name away but showing results.
  • Lifestyle- Showing you as a person builds trust with your followers
  • Entertainment- Being funny, or just entertaining people to want to watch you more

CTA (Call to Action)

Every successful piece of content should have a good call to action at the end. A Call to Action or CTA for short is telling your audience to “do this” if they like to learn more or take the next step.

HUB

Your Hub is a centralized place where all your leads live that is owned by you. The importance of you owning it is you can’t be locked our or in Social media jail not allowing you to contact your leads. Having a Data base in a centralized Hub will allow you to communicate, and provide additional offers to your leads.

For example I use a program called Aweber which is home to all my leads and various list depending on my initiatives. Even if I get locked out of my Social Media accounts I’ll still have access to communicate and provide value to my leads.

How to Set Up a Simple Landing Page Using Aweber

What is a Landing Page?

According to Wikipedia a Landing page, sometimes known as a “lead capture page”, or a “destination page”, is a single¬†web page¬†that appears in response to clicking on a¬†search engine optimized¬†search result, marketing promotion,¬†marketing email, or an¬†online advertisement.[1]¬†The landing page will usually display directed sales copy that is a logical extension of the advertisement, search result or link. Landing pages are used for¬†lead generation. The actions that a visitor takes on a landing page is what determines an advertiser’s conversion rate.

Landing pages are often linked to social media, e-mail campaigns or search engine marketing campaigns in order to enhance the effectiveness of the advertisements. The general goal of a landing page is to convert site visitors into sales or leads. If the goal is to obtain a lead, the landing page will include some method for the visitor to get into contact with the company, usually a phone number, or an inquiry form. If a sale is required, the landing page will usually have a link for the visitor to click, which will then send them to a shopping cart or a checkout area. By analyzing activity generated by the linked URL, marketers can use click-through rates and conversion rate to determine the success of an advertisement.

5 Places To Find Recruits on Facebook

Why Recruit?

Recruiting is the lifeblood of many businesses. New talent brings new energy, new perspectives and can liven up any organization. The ability to recruit also has benefits for business owners one of which is called leverage. Leverage is the ability to utilize talented people to run your business so they get the experience and as a business owner you have freedom. Unfortunately many people are afraid to recruit and are afraid of rejection. Some don’t know where to start looking. The great thing is Social Media and platforms like Facebook made it a bit easier to deal with those fears.

Facebook along with several other social media platforms have become a hub for business owners to network, build brand awareness, sell products, offer client support and of course recruit talented people. I personally have found success in my Life Insurance business recruiting agents nationwide on Facebook. There are several tactics and places that I use that I’m excited to share with you.

Where do I find Recruits?

  1. Facebook Groups– Facebook groups are a great way to find people with similar interest. In groups I comment, Like, Add and Message people who I’m able to connect with.
  2. Comment Section– When you scroll through Facebook and see a post from a friend that catches your attention head to the comments and start dialogue with others who are commenting. This is a way to find people with similar Interest.
  3. Friends List- Have you fully maximized reaching out to everyone on your friends list? You’ll be surprised as to what and who you find.
  4. Engagement– When people comment, like or share your post that’s an icebreaker to message them and create a conversation. “Hey thanks for commenting/liking/sharing my post what did you like best about it?”
  5. Add New Friends– Constantly finding and adding new friends is important. I add new friends based off various categories and reasons. Once they accept my request and message them and thank them to create dialogue.

As you can see the common trend on all the places I find recruits is I find people with common interest and I spark conversation with them. Your approach and how you chat with people is important. You don’t want to come off as sleazy or sneaky. 5 Ways to Increase Organic Reach on Social Media

When is comes to conversion on Social Media Reach is an important metric to track. Reach is the amount of people who see your content on Social Media. The more people who view your content means more eyeballs on your profile, videos and Images. If you have good content people will react and engage. The main purpose on social media is to get your content in front of more people and if you follow the right Attraction Marketing guidelines you’ll have people who want to learn more or follow you.

Ask Your Audience to Share

It may sound simple and easy but you’d be surprised at how many people don’t ask to share. It’s the easiest way to increase organic reach. Every time your audience shares your content it is displayed on their timeline for their audience to see. By simply having a call to action at the end of your content you open your reach by several thousand. Typically at the end of a video on social media like a Facebook live I tell my audience “If you like this video feel free to share” I usually get 2 to 5 shares by simply asking.

Current Trends

When ever there is a popular trend or topic going viral on social media I like to piggy back off it and create content of my own. Since it is a hot topic you get more views and shares. If you’re profile is public and people are searching that trend and topic on social media they may find your content. Last week I did a funny post based of the hot topic of the end of the Covid-19 Lock-down in Chicago It was shared over 3k times. Getting creative and having fun on social media will attract a lot of people to your profile.

Tag a Friend

When ever you tag someone on social media their network of friends and followers are also able to see your content. On Facebook you can Tag up to 50 people in one post. One rule of thumb is make sure you ask the person or you are mentioning them in the post. Many people get annoyed when they are constantly tagged on post that aren’t relevant to them. So make sure you ask and be creative when including them in your tag.

Invite a Guest

Bringing an expert in or interviewing someone on Social Media is a great way to expand your Reach. You can either use a third party software like Be.live to have multiple guest on Facebook Live or have a physical Interview in person. Interviews and expert panels seem to do well because the ability to tag the guest and have access to their network and interviews always get a great amount of shares. The best practice is to have a schedule where you interview and have guest from various industries and backgrounds.

Giveaways

Having a contest, raffle or sweep-stake is also a great way to increase reach. Once a month run a giveaway where you give something of value if your audience do a set of task and you randomly pick the winner. I have a contest where I give away Free books. To enter the contest all people have to do is Like my post, comment and share it. The great thing about a giveaway is that if done right it can go viral.

How to Find Time to Create Social Media Content If You Have NO Time

The biggest obstacle many people have when it comes to growing a brand on social media is NO TIME. Either work, family or just every day task get in the way of creating quality content consistently. One of the biggest challenges people face is how do I overcome this so I can build momentum and generate leads on social media. The majority of marketers start off part-time and eventually transition to full time but if you don’t get over that hump you will never be able to make the transition. The truth is building anything will take time especially on social media so instead of giving into the excuse of “NO TIME’ you have to overcome it. In this article I’ll give you 3 Tips to help you create content on social media with limited or no time.

Solutions

  1. Time Audit– Writing out your schedule on paper and taking an in depth look at how you’re spending your time hour by hour will show possible areas of opportunity. When I first audited my schedule I realized there was dead time and non productive task I can either remove or scale down. Some of those things were watching TV, scrolling through Facebook, Watching YouTube Videos etc… As I stared to analyze my schedule I found several hours a week of time that can be repurposed. I also found areas where I can make sacrifices like a half hour of sleep in the morning and evening, using my lunch breaks and not watching my favorite shows. When people say they don’t have time many times I find that it is false they don’t have a time issue they have a time management issue.
  2. Outsource– Though many marketers are against outsourcing because of lack of authenticity if you are desperate and absolutely have no time you can find an agency or person that can create content for you. With the boom in third party apps, virtual assistance it’s easy to search the web and find companies that will create content for you. Understand that it will cost money and you still have to create time to communicate and give the person or company guidance on what you want on your social media channel.
  3. Create Bulk Content– This is a tactic many marketers use it’s simply picking a day of the month typically a off day, blocking off your whole day and taking several hours to create content. If executed properly you can create a whole months worth of content and automate the posting with a program like Hootsuite.
